Ikaros Publications were founded in 1943. Alongside a prestigious list of Greek literary authors (counting two Nobel prizes winners), they inaugurated in 2008 a Graphic Novel series by publishing the iconic "Logicomix" by Apostolos Doxiadis and Christos Papadimitriou (illustrated by Alecos Papadatos and Annie Di Donna), which went on to become a New York Times #1 Bestseller and has since been translated to more than 20 languages.
